Post 1: "Things As They Really Are" Reflection
A few days ago, I read the talk "Things As They Really Are" by David A. Bednar. It was a very powerful talk about the problems with the internet. David A. Bednar warns us to not spend all of our time online, because there are more important things to have in life. Relationships are crucial to create in our lives, and being online all the time does not allow us to create lasting relationships. The internet can do amazing things for us. We can all share the gospel on the internet. However, most people waste their time by watching too much Youtube or tweeting useless information about their life. We should all strive to become our best selves in our real life instead of becoming someone who we are not online. If we act like someone else online, when people finally meet us their reaction will be this:
